Merchant FAQ

Questions we get every week

Fees, payouts, split payments, checkout and settlement — answered properly, so you do not have to ask.

Getting started

We verify your business and confirm your processing rate before your account goes live, and we aim to do this within 48 hours. You get an email once the account is active, along with the Heads of Terms.

Fees and payouts

The rate on your dashboard is your MDR, and it is the whole story. There is no second percentage on top. If you ever see a different figure quoted anywhere, in a document, a screenshot or an old page, your dashboard rate is the one that applies. Tell us and we will correct the page.

Checkout and your customers

That is how card-to-crypto rails work, and it is a regulatory requirement rather than a design choice. Card details and identity checks are handled by the licensed on-ramp provider, and we never see or store card details. That is exactly what keeps your account and your customer card data out of harm’s way. Your branding carries through, and the customer is returned to a confirmation page as soon as the payment is confirmed.

Payments, wallets and networks

In almost every case we have investigated, the funds settled on the wrong network, Ethereum instead of Polygon, rather than the payment failing. The money is not lost. It has arrived somewhere our system was not watching. Check your wallet on Ethereum as well as Polygon before assuming anything failed, then send us the session ID and we will trace it on-chain and reconcile it to your account. If it keeps happening on one particular payment option, tell us, because we may move your account to a different route.

Managing your account

Most fields are self-serve from your dashboard. A small number are locked on purpose, and those are the ones that, if compromised, could be used to redirect your funds or take over the account.

Still stuck

Email support@peptide-pay.com with your store URL, the session ID of the affected payment, and a screenshot if you have one.

For anything where a payment looks stuck, the session ID is by far the most useful thing you can send. It lets us follow the money on-chain directly.
